Clinical Psychologist in Milwaukee

Modern Individual and Couples Therapy

Michael Jorn, Ph.D. – Clinical Psychologist in Milwaukee

I welcome into my practice both men and women; individuals who are gay or straight, and of any racial or ethnic identity. In therapy sessions, we often focus on relationship issues, but often these issues also involve dealing with trauma, substance abuse, anxiety and mood, and chronic illness. I focus on relationships because they are so prominent in our lives both at home and at work. In marital therapy, I help patients to repair and improve relationships. However, when separation or divorce appears to be the best decision for couples, I also help patients to rebuild a healthy life and sense of self as they develop new lives. I also work with patients who are facing chronic medical conditions. I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and 25 years of experience working in hospital settings with patients dealing with pain and other chronic conditions.
